Town centre & traffic restrictions
Manchester city centre has several pedestrianised streets, particularly around Market Street and St Ann's Square, with restrictions in place during the day. Through-traffic is best routed via the Mancunian Way (A57(M)) and the inner ring road, which skirt the centre and connect out to the wider road network. Manchester doesn't currently operate a ULEZ, though the city centre gets busy with buses, trams, and pedestrians, so take extra care around Piccadilly Gardens and the tram routes.
Parking in Manchester
The city centre has a mix of multi-storey car parks and on-street parking, including sites around Piccadilly, the Northern Quarter, and Deansgate. Onward travel from Manchester
