We can offer you a Practical business to service the demand for economical vehicle rental in your area. We have harnessed this demand into a profitable business model based on our 28 years of experience. We can offer you a wide range of cars and vans from a variety of manufacturers.

We can also offer you national advertising including an online booking engine and a well optimised web page established in 1996.

What comes with the brand? Our national training centre will pass on our in depth industry knowledge, with regular follow up by Practical’s experienced Operations Managers.

A proven bespoke computerised point of sale system is also included in our package.

What comes with the Brand?

Included in your Franchise Fee is access to all the above including:

• A licence to operate in Great Britain and Eire
• Advice on fleet size and mix
• A business plan with profit and cash projections
• A three day intensive training course
• Ongoing operational assistance with designated operations managers
• Our rental software package
• A bespoke webpage and access to our online booking engine
• Use of Central Reservations systems, including cross hire and one way vehicle rental
• A competitive insurance package
• Business forms, stationery, signage and rental agreements

Through our Central Reservations department you will be able to source vehicles which you may not have available on your core rental fleet.  We can also organise one way rentals.

We also have our own account customers and may be able to offer the opportunity for each Franchisee to increase their rental revenue.

With strong links to Vauxhall, Nissan and Peugeot, we are able to obtain competitive quotes for most of your vehicle needs.

And the Cost?

An initial Franchise Fee starting from £8000 plus vat,  plus a royalty and marketing levy based on your rental revenue turnover.

In potential locations with a population of under 25,000 we have a Practical “Lite” option available, to reflect our expectations of  running a smaller fleet than in areas with a higher population. The Practical Lite franchise is available at a reduced franchise fee, with most of the benefits of a fully fledged Franchise being retained.
